PitchRounds is Southeast Life Sciences presentation program held during the AdvanSE Life Sciences Conference.

We are ready for the most promising innovative life science companies – from startups seeking milestone-based funding at six figure levels from venture capital firms, corporate venture arms, family offices, and angel groups to more mature companies with institutional investors on board seeking future rounds at $1MM to $15MM plus – to apply for PitchRounds 2022 at AdvanSE.

 

Applicants should be planning to execute a funding round, supported by a strong commercialization plan and business strategy, within the next 12 months.

Although we request more information, the judges will be focused especially on the following information in the executive summary:

  • Products or Services: Description, features and benefits, pricing, current stage of development, proprietary position
  • Market and Marketing Strategy: Description of market, competitive analysis, needs analysis, unique capabilities, sales/promotion. Quality of market research
  • Management: Backgrounds of key individuals, ability to execute strategy, personnel needs, organizational structure
  • Summary Financials: Presented in summary form, easy to read and understand, consistent with plan and effective

Companies are divided into two groups:

  • Mentoring leading up to the conference to help refine your pitch & presentation.
  • Two companies will be selected as finalists to compete on main stage.
    • Each  will be awarded with a Keiretsu Forum workshop on due diligence, term sheets, and valuation.

* Companies seeking very early funding rounds with no institutional investors on-board currently.

  • Two companies will be selected as finalists to compete on main stage.
    • Each  will be awarded with a Keiretsu Forum workshop on due diligence, term sheets, and valuation.

*Companies at Series A or later and preferably seeking funding of greater than $1 million in the next 12 months.

  • Keiretsu Forum will provide two of the four finalists the opportunity to pitch to the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions.*
